We make hydrated lime at our own plant in North Sulawesi. - Since: 2010 Kemindo started in 2010 with chemicals, beginning with bentonite and lime products. Chemicals are still our main business. Our customers are paper mills, gold, copper and nickel mines, alumina smelters and general industry. In 2014 we completed our hydrated lime plant at Labuan Uki, North Sulawesi. It is run by PT Kemindo Cao Resources, uses Italian technology and produces 10 tonnes per hour. It serves gold mines in eastern Indonesia. The machines are European-made and fully automatic, with about 30 people working inside the plant. It is close to gold mines. Besides hydrated lime, the plant also makes quick lime (CaO). Besides products, we offer consignment stock, a dedicated warehouse near the customer, technical service on site and tailor-made formulation. See the Services page. We keep developing more chemicals for various industries. ## Services - **Paper Chemicals**: Chemicals for pulp and paper mills, in five groups. Pulp: defoamer, digester additives, enzymes, sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid, quick lime and lime derivatives, PAC. Functional paper: ASA, surface size, OBA, wet strength, dry strength, native starch, colorants. Process: retention bentonite StarLITE, special bentonite StarSORB PNP, bulky agent StarBULK, micropolymer StarMPOL, retention aids StarPOL. Coating: colorants, OBA, latex, calcined clay. Water treatment: PAC, polymer, aluminium sulphate, activated carbon, scale inhibitor, defoamer, coagulant, isothiazolin, STPP, citric acid, EDTA, TSP. - **Mining Chemicals**: We supply the main chemicals for mines: hydrated lime, SMBS, copper sulphate, caustic soda (pearl, flake and liquid), PAC, aluminium sulphate, HCl, activated carbon, xanthates (PAX and SIBX), dithiophosphate collectors, MIBC, sodium sulphide, sodium silicate, silica flux, antiscalant, flocculants for alumina, polymer, CMC, citric acid, castables, plastic ramming and grinding balls.
