# Logistics: Barge, trucking, warehouse and transhipment in…

PT Karunia Samudera Indonesia, part of Kemindo, moves bulk cargo by sea and land: barges, vessels, trucks, warehousing and transhipment. We usually carry coal, salt and sulphur.

- Operated by: PT Karunia Samudera Indonesia

The motto of Kemindo Logistics is One Stop Solution: one service for sea transport (barges and vessels), trucking and warehousing.

Through PT Karunia Samudera Indonesia, we handle transport on both land and sea. Our trucking department delivers customers' coal and salt on time.

Transhipment means sending goods or containers to an intermediate destination and then onward to the final one: for example, moving cargo from ship to truck (transloading), or combining small shipments (consolidation) and splitting them at the destination (deconsolidation).

Our team is experienced in trucking and sea logistics, so we can keep freight costs low for our customers.

## Services

- **Barge**: Direct barging of bulk cargo, mainly coal, salt and sulphur, from the loading port to the unloading port or anchorage point in Indonesia and the region. Barges come in sizes of 230, 250, 270 and 300 feet, with capacities of 3,200–8,400 MT. Book two to three weeks ahead. Freight is priced per metric ton by distance and jetty location.
- **Trucking**: A dump truck fleet that delivers coal, salt, sand and stone, mainly in the Riau area. We have our own workshop and mechanics so the trucks are always ready to work.
- **Warehouse**: Warehousing for transit or long-term contracts. Barges, trucks and warehouse in one service: customers deal with one party.
- **Transhipment**: Moving cargo between transport modes (transloading), and consolidating and deconsolidating cargo at transit points.
