## Who Kemindo is: a supplier to mining, paper and other industries

Kemindo Group was founded in Jakarta in 2010. We supply chemicals, coal and logistics services to mines and paper mills in Indonesia, and we are also active in agriculture.

## What we do

Kemindo has more than 15 years of experience serving the mining, pulp and paper, and other industries. We have five business lines:

1. **Chemicals & Consumables**: chemicals and consumables for mines (copper-gold, nickel and alumina) and chemicals for pulp and paper mills.
2. **Mining Solutions**: OTR tyre recycling, dust control and grinding balls.
3. **Energy**: steam coal from GAR 4800 to GAR 6000.
4. **Logistics**: barge, warehouse and trucking.
5. **Agriculture**: a tapioca starch plant.

## People and facilities

Kemindo has more than 350 people, including permanent staff and outsourced workers. Our facilities: a hydrated lime plant at Labuan Uki (North Sulawesi), a silica plant and mine in Java, a starch plant in Sumatra, and a coal mine in Riau.

## Our journey

- **2010**: Kemindo founded. Started in chemicals, with bentonite and lime products.

- **2013**: Energy division. Started as a coal trader, then acquired its own coal mine in Riau Province.

- **2014**: First hydrated lime plant. PT Kemindo Cao Resources completed the hydrated lime plant in North Sulawesi (Italian technology, 10 tonnes/hour) to serve gold mines in eastern Indonesia.
